Deputy Attorney General- Republic of Ghana

Alfred Tuah-Yeboah served as the Deputy Attorney General of the Republic of Ghana from 2021-2025. In this role, he supervised the prosecution of several crimes against the state and defended successfully all manner of suits against the Republic.

The rigour, demands and excellence required of the office propelled Tuah-Yeboah into the highest echelon of the law where he represented Ghana successfully in international courts and arbitration proceedings. Tuah-Yeboah was part of the Ghana team that saved the country billions of dollars in judgment debts during his time in public office.

Alfred Tuah-Yeboah has served and continues to serve on at least 30 Boards  and Committees of major public sector and private institutions. These Boards include;

The Constitutional Review Consultative Committee; a high-powered body tasked to review the report of the 2010 constitutional review  commission that reviewed the constitution of Ghana,

Alfred Tuah Yeboah has been a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana for  23 years. He has been a member of the Ghana Bar in good standing since being called in 2002. He holds a Master of Laws Degree(LLM) in National Security Law and Practice from the University of Ghana,  a Master of Science Degree (MSc) in Defense and International Politics from the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College, Accra, a Qualifying Certificate of Law from the Ghana School of law, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting and Law from the University of Ghana and a Diploma in Business Management from ICS, Glasgow, Scotland.

Charities.

Quite the philanthropist, the former Deputy Attorney General founded Alfred Tuah-Yeboah Foundation, a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) that aids the poor, needy, and people living in  deprived communities. Through the foundation,  several communities in the Bono, Bono East and Ahafo Regions now have access to potable water. Many Children have also been provided school uniforms, school bags and school shoes to facilitate their education while communities have also benefited from sporting equipment, footballs, football boots and jerseys. 

 

Hobbies.

Alfred Tuah Yeboah likes to play football or pick up his racket for the tennis court. Staying fit and firm is the goal at all times and he has mastered both sports in equal measure.

Tuah-Yeboah served as the President of the Ghana Bar Association in the Bono Ahafo  Region where he hails from. He is married with three children one of whom is a self-taught Software Engineer building apps for global solutions.
