Kojo Frempong has been variously described as the ‘Energy in the Room’ and the ‘Minister of Solutions’ by clients and business associates. He has a relaxed perceptive approach to all disputes and problems that unravels the knotty points leading to the utmost satisfaction of clients. He possesses a remarkable ability to make contacts at all levels of society and execute deals across all sections of business and industry due to a multi-disciplinary background in business development, governmental relations, finance and community building.

  His badge of honour is ensuring that clients are incredibly served by the battery of lawyers at Dame & Partners. “Those who walk through our doors needing legal help must be able to sleep at home in full satisfaction that we will fiercely guard their interest and trust” is his favourite mantra.

Kojo Frempong’s background is a tapestry of Public Service, Media, Entrepreneurship and C-Suite Management. Some of the offices he has held include;

*Head of Corporate Affairs and External Relations at the Minerals Income investment Fund (where he was responsible for the management of the ‘Reputational Risk, Corporate Social Investment, Stakeholder Management and Corporate Communications of Africa’s fastest rising Investment Fund)

* Official Cabinet Approved Spokesperson for Government of Ghana’s Infrastructure Ministries being; the Ministry of Roads and Highways; Ministry of Communications; Ministry of Works and Housing; Ministry of Sanitation, Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Railways Development (where he was responsible for coordinating and managing the project narrative of government’s  infrastructure drive. )

*Director of Programs at the Ministry of Business Development (where he represented government business interest at both local and international for a as well as creating innovative programs like the “Presidential Pitch” a platform for unearthing young entrepreneurs across the country including Pizzaman and Chicken Man)

Other related experience comprises almost 20 years in the Media where he built an outstanding profile either in owning companies or winning awards with established outfits in the Television, Radio or the Newspaper subsectors. These include

  • Best Television Presenter 2014 and 2015 at the Radio and Television Awards
  • Founder of All Sports Media Group (Newspaper Publishing  and Television Production company) and
  • Head of Sports Broadcasting at Multimedia Company Limited

Mr. Frempong has both a Bachelor of Arts (Economics, English) and a Bachelor of Laws (LL. B) from the University of Ghana and a Master of Public Administration degree from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University. Kojo Frempong also studied Finance at the Sloan Business School, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He has a certificate in Nonviolence Conflict Reconciliation from the University of Rhode Island (URI).

Kojo Frempong is a perpetual learner with passions and interest from Classical music, History, Film, Paintings, Religion, Philosophy, Biographies, Books, Motivational Speaking, Edutainment, Sports and Fashion. He is an extroverted introvert who cherishes networking and deep conversations where he relates pleasantly on every conceivable topic.

Kojo Frempong is a member of the Youth Icons Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), a youth based Peacebuilding and Kingian Nonviolence organisation dedicated to educating young people on the need to eschew violence and pursue peaceful means of settling conflicts. He is also a member of the Green Republic, a non-profit grassroots climate action organization committed to the fight against climate change through a vigorous afforestation program and other climate mitigating actions.

Kojo Frempong used to be a football scout, talent manager and community football organiser for Telecom Giants Airtel Ghana Limited and Tigo which run community initiatives known as the Airtel Rising Stars and Tigo Community Soccer. Working side by side Ghanaian coaching icons Sam Arday, E.K Afranie and Ibrahim Sunday, they scouted a number of footballers who went on to represent for some of Ghana’s youth teams at the international level.
