Yaw Boampong Adu-Brempong is a lawyer who believes in using the law as a strategic instrument for solving complex problems, strengthening institutions, shaping public policy, and protecting the vulnerable. His academic grounding in Law, International Trade, and Tourism enables him to approach his work with depth, discipline, and a clear sense of purpose.

Yaw’s practice spans family law, real estate, natural resources law, trade, business, commerce, regulatory compliance, and governance. With over ten (10) years of professional experience in both public and private enterprises, he is known for his diligence, integrity, and analytical excellence. He has provided expert legal and policy advice, strengthened operational frameworks, and participated in reputation-building projects across various sectors. His professional journey includes roles such as Legal Officer at the State Housing Company Limited, where he advised management and represented the company in court proceedings throughout Ghana. Yaw has also worked with leading Ghanaian law firms including Akufo-Addo Prempeh Co. (Accra) and Sarfo Gyamfi Associates (Kumasi). He has built a strong understanding of governance, policy, and commercial development through these diverse assignments, supporting his expertise for leadership and institutional development. Yaw’s early exposure to social justice came during his service as a clerk to adjudicating panels on juvenile and domestic cases has deepened his sense of justice and commitment to public service, inspiring his dedication to the ethical use of law for promoting fairness, accountability, and positive transformation in society.

Yaw holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Trade and Business Law from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), a Qualifying Certificate in Law from the Ghana School of Law, and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). Additionally, he was awarded a Bachelor of Arts in Culture and Tourism from KNUST, broadening his perspective on law, policy, and society.

Deeply passionate about leadership and youth development, Yaw is committed to helping cultivate integrity, strategic thinking, and a public-minded perspective among future leaders. Over the years, he has trained and mentored numerous young individuals, instilling values and skills crucial for personal and national growth. His enduring commitment to teamwork, advocacy, and community building, first nurtured through extensive engagement in student leadership, continues to inform his approach to mentoring and contribution to national development.

Outside his professional work, Yaw finds fulfillment in music, football, and entrepreneurship. He enjoys playing musical instruments and values creative expression as a balance to his legal work. His entrepreneurial drive complements his commitment to economic empowerment and self-sufficiency values he actively shares with the young people he mentors.
